My journey into coaching started in the classroom. Although I loved my social studies classroom and my students in the South Bronx, I wanted more opportunities to collaborate with other teachers across disciplines.
After moving to Philadelphia, I had my first opportunity to coach teachers in a variety of subject areas — but I wasn't ready to give up my own classroom. After getting my administrative license, what truly ignited my passion was sitting alongside a teacher and beginning a dialogue about what else was possible.
That spark grew, and I took the leap into coaching full time. I dug into Transformational Coaching through the work of Elena Aguilar, and I haven't turned back.
By recognizing the possibilities in others and helping them discover their untapped potential, I've found the perfect intersection between passion, purpose, and possibilities. Now I bring my years of teaching and coaching experience to help others thrive — through transformational coaching that sustains.
As a world language teacher, I initially struggled to keep my lesson content and objectives aligned. Dana provided invaluable support in helping me develop a clear system for understanding the goals of each lesson and selecting content accordingly to meet academic standards. Thanks to her guidance, my objectives are now clear, and my lessons not only stay aligned with standards but also maintain the fun and engagement necessary for my students' success.— High School Spanish Teacher
Your guidance, feedback, and encouragement have truly shaped me — not just as an educator, but as a person. You saw potential in me even on the hard days, and your patience and belief in my growth have meant more than you know. Thank you for helping shape the teacher I've become, and for being such a positive part of my journey.— First-Year HS Computer Science Teacher
I feel more confident solving my own problems now and overcoming obstacles that come up.— First-Year Middle School Science Teacher
